Why did you choose a NPI Franchise over becoming an independent inspector?
Chose GPI franchise because it is a reconizable name. Support and initial training were excellent. Saved money and time with franchise in producing and using marketing materials so I had a jump start on these things and did not have to produce myself and they would not have been anywhere near as professional as their marketing materials are. Computor training and report writing program is excelent and easy to learn.

Why did you choose a NPI Franchise over becoming an independent inspector?
I spent alot of time deciding to go with a franchise over being independant. I spoke with realtors in the area to get a better feel on the market and was told that most people felt more comfortable with a franchised company then with the independant.Next was to pick a franchise. There are alot of different Home Inspection franchises to mull over as well. I decided on Global property inspections because of the family atmosphere and the training they provide. I just came back from the annual conferance and was very surprized when all of the staff who I had not seen in two years knew my name, my wifes name and even the kids. They care about you as a person and will go to great lengths to help you succeed. I thank my lucky stars every day that I decided to go with them over any other franchise or try it on my own.

The support program offered app0eared to be more than I would be able to obtain within a few years. Tied in with a national and international company was high on the scale because most people want to work with larger companies that will provide support, over small one person operations. The training was face to face rather than over the internet or taking months out of my life to attend some college. In hind sight, I know I did the right decision. It has been a special pleasure working with the Omaha team. They all make one feel as part of a global family and not just a franchise #.
